Personal Writing: Letter To The Future From 1996
... exercise because his
breed of dog is bred as a gun dog so they have very good endurance. He
goes for at least one run in the park every day.
I remember when we first got him. We knew as soon as we saw him looking
out at us from his little kennel that we had to have him.
I like shooting, Clay Pigeon shooting and Air Rifle Shooting. For Clay
Pigeon Shooting I have a 12 bore shotgun. To have a shotgun you need a
shotgun license. Just recently there has been an outcry for a ban on
privately owned handguns after the Dunblain massacre, which was when a
lunatic broke into a school and gunned down a class of childre ...

Personal Writing: Gifts
... thought of her as an angel
because of her angelic voice. My grandmother died seven months after that
Christmas, and then the pin meant even more to me. Now I felt as if I had
two angels watching over me.
During my ninth grade year, I put the pin on my Fremont
cheerleading jacket. Sadly, during the middle of the year, I lost the pin.
I was very angry at myself for losing the pin. Every time I looked at it,
it was a reminder of my aunt and grandmother. I almost felt as if I lost
them all over again.
This year for Christmas, I received a gift-certificate from my
other grandmother to the Bible Book Center. With the ...

The Monkeys
... the rest of the days they were forced to eat celery. This irritated to the extreme that they would rather be let free from the monkey house and fend for themselves rather than put up with a few restrictions which were placed on their lives.
One day in the monkey house, however, there was a change that was not pleasing to at all. A letter was left on the door of the monkey house which read as follows: Dear Monkeys, You guys have got to start helping out a little bit, because we are tired of helping you do everything. From now on, when we feed you bananas, its your responsibility to pick up your banana peals ...

Personal Writing: Fragment - Changes In Life
... Incidents occur in one's life daily. Most of the time people enjoy
talking about "what happened today" because most of the time it's usually
funny and it isn't really considered anything serious. Some happenings in
our lives are very serious and aren't as easy to talk about with others.
Even though this is true it does help the person feel better to talk about
their problems whether they realize it at first or not. Changes in life
like these can change you both physically and mentally for the rest of your
life depending on the severity of the situation.
In early August of `96 my life at home became a liv ...

Creative Writing: Who's In The Wall?
... to stop by and ask him a few
questions hoping he would remember or know something. After about an hour of
getting "I do not know. What are you talking about? Please leave." I realized
this was a waste of time and decided to go.
The next morning I called Mr. Machiano and asked him to meet me at the
palace. As I approached the area where the body was found I began to feel a
little queasy. I searched the ground around the body hoping to find some clues.
I noticed the sparkle of metal pertruding from the ground. I picked it up and
saw it was a gold and diamond ID bracelet with the name Montresor inscribed on ...

... to school
with him.
"Hi Lucille," Bob replied shyly.
Bob and Lucille were good friends. Bob wished that they could go out on
a date but, he knew there was several reasons why they would not make a good
couple. First Lucille had told him that she did not like it if her boyfriend was
a lot smarter and better at sports than her. After-all they were so different.
She worked so hard to get stuff done while he needed very little time if any at
all. She was the captain of the soccer and basketball teams while, if his knee
was better, he could beat her at any sport. He knew they were just so different
they were fated not ...

the bottles in a garbage bag and decide to head home. From what they could
see no traps had washed up, and their legs were getting tired. They walk
the hour trip back to Richards house where they take off their garb and
empty the bags.
"What you suppose are in these?" asks Chester.
"I don't know but as soon as we wash them a bit and open em' up
we should find out" replies Richard.

I Remember
... already made candles and wrap them up for packaging, but that was fine with me, at least I was helping. I wasn't allowed to help with the actual making of the candles until I was thirteen. Hot wax is very dangerous to be around unless you know what you're doing. If it gets on your skin it will stick to you and burn you very badly. I had to be old enough to know better.
