... is significant because of the time line factor. The time it takes to travel from home, to the facility, and then to work often hinder parents from arriving on time for work. By providing on site , employers would see that their workers would be tardy less and the employees would not have to worry about picking their child up late due to heavy traffic problems or working late.
The curriculum is important because parents want to feel confident that their child is being adequately taught in a caring environment. Parents also want to know that their child will not be physically or mentally abused which is why dis ...

Gender Inequality
... all facets of this problem, but
in order to fully tackle the issue one must recognize that this inequality in
the workforce is rooted in what shapes future employees and employers--
education. This paper will examine the inequalities in policy, actual teaching
situations, admission to post-secondary institutions, hiring, and job benefits
and wages. It will also tackle what is being done to solve this problem and what
can be done to remedy the situation.
The late 1960s brought on the first real indication that feminist groups
were concerned with the education system in North America. The focus of these

Divorce And Children
... children, and in-laws. Newer reasons for divorce that have surfaced within the past 30 years. One of them is "unmet expectations". It’s when people justify a divorce by saying that the marriage didn’t turn out the way they expected. Some people say that they woke up one morning, and they realized there was nothing left in the relationship. Others say that they feel like they’re in a cage, and the walls are closing in. This situation can be psychologically damaging, and in many ways can be as damaging as being physically abused, even if the other person isn’t doing any intentional or tangible har ...

The First Impression
... for a clear long term judgment of
the person in question. The first impression is influenced by many factors,
mainly the physical appearance, one's own past experiences and other
peoples judgments. Indeed, first impressions are dangerous, but they are
also inevitable, for it is a natural instinct that every person is born
with.
Take the classic cliché "You cannot judge a book by its cover." Not
everything is what it seems to be. A young man who was on a quest to find
himself decided to do a trek across the United States. When he reached the
state of Arizona, he met up with a man in ragged clothes, messy ha ...

Same Sex Marriages? By Definition, It Cannot Exist
... inappropriate, can be solved without upsetting both sides
of the scale.
Many same sex marriage supporters argue, "Why does every legal and
political issue always have to be complicated by making it a moral and ethical
question?" If there were no morals or ethics in government, society as we know
it could not exist. It is unthinkable how someone can make this point. If
these people had some logic and thoughtfulness in their minds as well as in
their hearts, they would not be making these ridiculous comments. Arguments of
this type are the cause of crime and poverty in our country. People don't know

Feminists

problem I have with her article is the image that she and other contemporary
activists are coveying to the rest of society.
When I think of a feminist two pictures come into mind. The first, which
maybe a little outdated is a women like Susan B. Anthony, someone fighting for
real issues that matter. The second is of a women like the author above, someone
who is extreme just to be extreme. To my disappointment it seems the later is
becoming more prevalent within society.
After reading the article I scrolled down the page to where it listed
