Part 1 of Paper ....thought was the title character, I assumed that would be the hero (heroine). As Aristotle described in The Poetics, the tragic hero is one who is noble and because of a character flaw or circumstances beyond their control, ‘fall from a great height.’ was a noble woman of great moral character, but her strong wil.... Part 2 of Paper ....only caused a heightening to my bewilderment. Both were noble characters. , a princess and Creon, the King. Both had strong ideals and morals. felt that the laws of the Gods and family were paramount, and Creon felt that the welfare and safety of his citizens and the state was of the utmost importance. Both characters believed very strongly in their ideals and would not be swayed by reason. insisted on burying her brother after he was killed in battle because it was the right thing to do.... |
