Colerdige’s Use Of Imagery In The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
Part 1 of Paper .... of writing in all of English literature. It is the use of a regular rhyming scheme, repetition, changes in rhythm, and most importantly, the use of language ,within the poem, that makes "The Ancient Mariner" the celebrated work of art which it thus has been credited.
Language is used within the poem to provide the mos.... Part 2 of Paper .... has sustained due to the shooting of an albatross; a sadistic, wanton act of cruelty, completely without motive. Due to this sin, the Mariner is thrust into the horrors of his penance. In such a way it seems as if the Ballad is a human truth, a spiritual journey of some-sort during which a sin is committed, punishment is delivered, and thus with the recognition of that sin (self-awareness) repentance is granted.
