“A Worn Path”: Phoenix
Part 1 of Paper ....n and strengths of an elderly women, by the name of Phoenix Jackson. Phoenix is a poor elderly Negro, that did not have a lot and made due with what she have. Phoenix unfortunate condition did not stop her from walking down a path, that she has become so familiar with.
Phoenix starts walking early one morning down a.... Part 2 of Paper .... Imagining Phoenix condition, she can only wish and stay strong enough to keep walking. She didn’t stop there. Phoenix knew she needed to find a safe place, so she would not face harm. Even though she was hungry.
Phoenix has made it “Through the maze now.”(117) It will be easier for Phoenix to continue walking “for there was no path.”(117) She felt a bit of relief to know that she didn’t have to deal with some of the animals that would have been there back in the summer.
