Part 1 of Paper ....d throughout the entire story was mean and very wrong. The only explanation for this is that he was just plain evil, and there was no way to change him into a good person.
Some various examples of Push's wrong-doings include stealing, scaring people, playing mean tricks, and even trying to start fights. Push did.... Part 2 of Paper ...., Push tried to make people hate John, thinking that everything would go back to being normal again.
This did not work, and everyone still liked John, and everyone was being even nicer to Push. This infuriated him. It made him so mad that he wanted to start a fight with John.
Push did go to fight John, and threw a punch. John threw a punch back and knocked Push down. After this, John did a very noble thing by asking for Push's friendship.
