I Pledge Allegiance To The Flag...
Part 1 of Paper ....teacher's desk at the start of everyday. This morning tradition will last though the last day of school, the day of graduation. Some of us would dance nervously as we said the tried words, some stood calm and still, others silently mouthed the promise, and even some sweaky voices to join our chorus. There were thirt.... Part 2 of Paper ....o wanted to keep their slaves, the Axis who wanted to take over the world, and the Germans who were burning the Jews. Each time we fought we emerged victorious, each time the flag was still there -- a symbol of those who had fought for us, and those who had died doing so.
Now why after all of these reasons why would anyone, in no matter of what protest or belief, would choose to burn our flag... our memorial to those who died for our country's good? When I look at the flag and utter the Pledge.... |
