Mother Nature Strikes Fear And Excitement
Part 1 of Paper ....grim at Tinker Creek. Annie Dillard's style is very descriptive. Dillard uses similes to show her fear of the flood. She also uses diction to show her excitement about the flood. In "Flood", an excerpt from Pilgrim at Tinker Creek, Annie Dillard gives the impression that she is afraid, yet excited about the flood.
