The 1930s
Part 1 of Paper ....ork, while others did all they
could to just hang on a little longer. All across North America, tough
times were had by all.
My grandma had to walk two miles to school every day; the dust was
so bad that she could only see a few feet in front of her. The dust was
also so fine that it could get in anywhere there were.... Part 2 of Paper ....il warm before they went into town. In the 30's larger tires
with safety tubes were developed, and carried less air pressure compared to
the old narrow, solid rubber tires which required about sixty pounds of air
pressure. This gave a much smoother ride. So called permanent anti-freeze
became available to use in place of alcohol which had a low boiling point.
Many cars did not have trunks, but people could purchase trunks to attach
to the back of their car to be used as storage. Some cars did.... |
