There was not much humor, but it sure made the reader feel the frustrating times of the early twentieth century. Percy Wollaston was the main character in the book. It was written from his point-of -view, and his memories of his early life. Mr. Wollaston describes the hard life of pioneer families on the Great Plains. He describes how families, including his own, traveled westward with the railroad to find a bit.... |
