Views Of The Church In The Canterbury Tales
Part 1 of Paper ....s about the nun, monk, parson and the pardoner. We can tell how Chaucer feels about the church and the people of the church by they way he depicts the characters.
The nun is portrayed as a coy woman. Chauncer says she was known as madam eglantyne. If she is a nun and people call her madam this shows that she isn't very.... Part 2 of Paper .... of the few people Chauncer portrays an a good manner. Pardons is also is a holy minded man who is a person who can priest and praise Christ who is really the only devout Christian in this story. He doesn't look down on any men he doesn't think he is higher than anyone else. Chauncer likes this character and only has praise this is a good depiction.
