Part 1 of Paper ....ntion. The plot is very adventurous and full of revenge, which really appealed to me. The main impression the book made on me is the major lesson of patience and hope in the face of the greatest despair. Honestly, though, the sweet revenge that the Count takes upon his enemies is the supreme reason for my enjoyment .... Part 2 of Paper ....d painful punishments for those who wronged him. Through exacting his revenge, there are underlying subplots of young lovers, innocents, and people seeking redemption who the Count helps.
Dumas’ main purpose in his writings is said to be his desire to reflect history (or rather the current events of the time). He always spoke of French history, since by a stroke of luck, he worked for the Duc d’Orleans who later became the King. This book was probably written in part to expose the injust.... |
