1984: Socialism, Fascism, Or Communism
Part 1 of Paper .... in the state. Food is being rationed, and everyone everywhere is being watched. Many other aspects of a normal life are controlled. Some of these can be compared to a life dominated by Socialism, Fascism, or Communism.
Socialism demands state ownership and control of the basic means of production and distribution of .... Part 2 of Paper ...., there is a totalitarian dictatorship, where one person or group controls everything within. This can be seen in 1984 by the Party. There is subordination to the state and its leader, which there is not in the book. Ethnic cleansing is required in a large Fascist state.
In 1984, I do think that the form of government takes some characteristics from Fascism and Socialism. Although, the entire deal with the proles seems as if there will be a revolution into a Communist government.
