Finding Mass Using The Inertial Balance
Part 1 of Paper ....er can best be described by looking at the mass of an object. Mass is the amount of material that is in an object. Mass can be found by using a spring scale, a balance scale, or an inertial balance. Inertia is the resistance by mass to any change in its state of motion. Scientific Law states that mass and inertial .... Part 2 of Paper ....nd the period, you will measure the amount of time it takes for your balance to complete 20 oscillations. The period (T) will be computed by taking your time and dividing it by 20. This will be recorded as T2.
2) You will then measure the mass of your empty pan (including all screws) and record this as m2.
3) You will then measure the mass of one c-clamp. Record this as m1 accepted.
4) Using the inertial balance, find the time it would take for 20 oscillations of the c-clamp (which.... |
