.... like when Candy said about his dog, “I should of shot that dog myself.” meaning it would have been kinder to the dog. Lennie was lying down, facing away from George and didn’t know he was going to be shot. He didn’t know what was going to happen, just like Candy’s dog.
Murder is never the right answer, but George didn’t really commit murder. He was helping a friend in trouble. He shot Lennie himself to put him out of his misery and the pain that was ab.... |
