William Lloyd Garrison
Part 1 of Paper .... He was considered a dangerous radical, he was scorned by society, attacked by the press, and hunted by enraged mobs. But this crusader against slavery never feared to stand alone. Throughout his adult life he was committed to the abolition of slavery in America.
William was born on or about December 10, 1805, to Abi.... Part 2 of Paper ....hame that he did not have a father. He knew that someday he would make his mark and show everyone that he was someone.
Eventually William's mother decided she couldn't keep the family together any longer. She moved to Lynn, Massachusetts, and left William in Newburyport to live with the family of Deacon Ezekiel Bartlett.
