Part 1 of Paper .... tension between countries. After the war a treaty was to be drawn up between the Allies and Germany. This treaty was supposed to be based on Woodrow Wilson's Fourteen points. Self-determination was one of Wilson's ideas that a nation should rule themselves rather then be ruled by others. In his Fourteen points sel.... Part 2 of Paper ....nd nor did the colonies. They were unable to vote whether they wanted to remain under the rule of Germany or not. Germany was ignored in many other situations, the reason for this was because they were considered as a defeated country and were not given any rights. The countries that were given self-determination were too small to be liable.
