Maintaining Civil Liberty
Part 1 of Paper ....the normatively of law, legal obligation and the role of morality.
To begin with, the normativity of law is essential for any kind of standard or criteria for passing judgements about any act or object or even state of affairs; those things by reference to which the judgement is passed is a norm.
Therefore normativity .... Part 2 of Paper .... disagree. Raz argues that there is no obligation to obey the law. That man should and does resist the urge/temptation to commit crime not for obligation but because of his enate knowledge that that is not acceptable.
" One has reasons not to kill , assault, rape or imprison other people which have no connection with the law and depend entirely on the fact that such acts are against the will or interests or ( moral ) rights of others." ( Raz, p.233)
