Types Of Clouds
Part 1 of Paper ....ouds are groups of tiny water droplets or ice crystals in the sky. They are associated with different kinds of precipitation depending on the atmosphere's temperature. Cloud types are classified by height and appearance. The shape depends on the way the air moves around it. If air moves horizontally, clouds form in lay.... Part 2 of Paper ....atus clouds, belonging to the high cloud group, are sheet like thin clouds that usually cover the entire sky. The sun or moon can shine through Cirrostratus clouds. Sometimes, the sun or moon will appear to have a halo around it when in the presence of Cirrostratus. The ice crystals from the cloud refracts the light from the sun or moon, creating a halo. Cirrostratus clouds usually come 12-24 hours before a rain or snow storm. This is especially true if Middle group clouds are associated with it.... |
