normal clothes makes them neutral. Wearing uniforms makes all the students
equalize from rich and poor. It makes the neutral students not being worry
about their clothing when there is a dress code. The rich students would
not make fun of the students who do not know how to dress up or student who
just wear weird clothing. Some students who may feel this really upsetting
because they want to look different everyday except wearing the same

Definition Of Education
... The age of art and philosophers is dead
due to our age of "so called" education. We are being molded into people
who can not think for ourselves. An example of this would be the giant
"American War Machine." The government says we need all these weapons to
protect America. They do not say who we need protection from. In fact
there really is no one we need to be protected from. The Soviet Union is
no more and the rest of the world is already years behind in technology.
Then why do we spend billions of our dollars on weapons. We spend in order
to line the pockets of weapon manufactures.
If we thought ...

Premature Specialization
... a daily basis.
Malpractice must come to an end. The education that a doctor receives is a tool that he or she will use his or her whole life, (unlike a person who majored in something contrary to what their field of work is). A doctor’s experience is a vital instrument. Medical skill is a demand for certain practicing procedures and should be taken seriously. Knowing the legal system requires a doctor to have a good amount of experience can ease the concerns of family and loved ones, and also gives confidence to a doctor that he or she can do his or her work correctly.
In order for doctors to ge ...

and so on to reflect upon the difficult tasks one faces.
Thomas Gray wrote another poem called “The curse upon Edward.” In this
poem, Gray does not compare and contrast. He talks about death up front. He says
that “The shrieks of death, thro’ Berkley’s roof that ring.”(Gray. 821) Gray has a way of
writing lines in difficult ways, that you could have used six words to explain the
sentence. In his last poem “The Progress of Poesy,” Gray has a different way of

What Came First Thought Or Lan
... between the conscious mind and the unconscious mind. There are infinitely more thoughts in our mind than we can ever perceive. The German psychologist Fechner, who lived in the second half of the nineteenth century, compared the mind to an iceberg. This iceberg has only a fraction of all the information and thoughts stored in the mind above the water level, on the surface of consciousness, but by far the biggest part of it is hidden underwater, in the unconscious mind. Recent research has shown that only a very tiny proportion of our unconscious thinking is converted to conscious thinking. This conversion process ...

Fetishism- A Paraphilia
... are usually required for sexual functioning.
The object of a fetishist's sexual desire might be used with a partner but more often than not the fetish becomes the entire focus of sexual pleasure.
Fetishism is a perversion that is found, primarily in male heterosexuals, in which orgasm is impossible without the presence of their fetish. A fetish can be any number of things. There are three basic types of fetishes: 1) an inanimate object (e.g. women's clothing, shoes, gloves, underwear), 2) a part of the human body (e.g. foot, hand, hair, legs, breasts, fingernails), 3) or something odd such as, leather, rubber, the t ...

A Comparison Of Two Network Operating Systems; Microsoft Win
... the network operating system (NOS) will be the ultimate factor in their decision. It is not just the initial cost of the hardware however, but rather many other factors will need to be considered to insure that further maintenance costs are not overwhelming. For instance, software licenses will need to be procured. Technical support agreements will need to be assessed. The costs of upgrades/service packs, hardware upgrades will need to be weighed for both types of systems. Determining which system has a greater occurrence of glitches can be a factor in estimating lost profits for every hour of downtime. If the ...

College Life
... I didn’t finish first, I didn’t even place in the top three rankings, but I completed the race and beat my personal record. Like my finish line, my final months of high school come into view. But this race is not like any other; there is no finish line.
High school graduation is my finish line and college is my next goal. This is the biggest race of my life as I realize that wanting to grow up so fast to become an adult isn’t what it seems like when your just a little kid. Where do you want to go and how do I plan on achieving to become successful are just a few of the many questions that run through my min ...

... such popular dogs as the Basset Hound, Bloodhound, and Greyhound. There are 22 separate breeds in the Hound Group alone. This group can be further separated into the scent hounds and the sight hounds. Scent hounds have been bred to find their prey by their overdeveloped sense of smell. The Working Groups is a group of 21 different breeds of dogs. These dogs “were bred to perform such jobs as guarding property, pulling sleds, and performing water rescues” (AKC.org). Some common breeds in ...

The American Dream 3
... States must demand greater integrity from our leaders. Naturally, the strict adherence of this revered moralistic principle by our leaders will filter down to the rest of our society and create a favorable atmosphere. The American society expects and deserves honesty from their appointed political figures. We have endured the Iran Contra scandal during the Reagan administration. Currently, our President has had extramarital affairs with government employees as well as various other women. The Clinton administration has had us suffer through Whitewater, Travelgate, and the seemingly unnecessary bombing of Y ...
