... people, or one third of the population. The question of whether East Timor should have independence has been clear for most of the international community. The ones who argue the issue are the ones who are making money off the blood of innocent victims in a war the East Timorese want nothing to do with. The East Timorese are "caretakers of the land"(Briere) and do not want to die so others can become rich. East Timor was "one of the last true Polynesian civilizations in the world."(Briere)

Derivates
... of derivatives called Futures and Options might do just that if used properly. In this essay we look at certain types of derivatives called Futures and Options, and how hedgers / investors make use of them to their advantage as well as where the threats seem to lie when dealing with them in general.
These derivative markets allow hedgers to avoid risk by transferring it to speculators who seek it. We have all heard the phrase “keep your options open” and it is along these lines that the Options derivative has arisen. The Old Testament Jews considered children to be so important to marriage that not having children was something of a curse. “Peninnah, her rival, would torment and humiliate her, because the Lord have kept her from having children” (1 Sm 1:6).

in harmony with it. All of this time I have felt myself to be one of the
more environmentally aware people. I ride bicycle and skateboard locally
to keep from using a car. Now after reading about "petroleum surfboards", I
realize that bicycles have a lot more oil in them than you might think. All

16 required then they can go to a junior college to gain the credits they need
and possibaly could not have ever gotten in high school. It also gives them
something to fall back on so to speak. In the next few paragraphs I hope you

Serach Engines
... portal to look at is Yahoo, which has almost double the amount of visits per day the either Lycos or Excite get. Yahoo was the first major search engine and also my personal favorite. It has chat rooms for people of all ages, current news, and the depth of it's directories are unmatched (Essex pg 74). Like the other portals it is paid for by mostly advertisement.
